Slim's new hat

We are still working on Slim's outfit. Since I took off the wig, he is looking decidedly more masculine. I love his new hat and looks ready for the cold fall days ahead. Think of how cute he'll look once I get the Donkey.

Missoni for Target

Can you believe some one returned this???? It is now part of the family :) Keep the Missoni dreams alive people and check in Target periodically.

Pumpies Pumpies Pumpies

It is that time of year again, and my mother schlepped me to the pumpkin patch to get 23 pumpkins for her school. 23 perfect pumpkins with no marks, bruising and that stand. Then I get to load them into her car and get yelled at to "drive gently" the whole way home. Joyous, I know.

DONKEY DONKEY!!!

In the next town over, there is a small farm with a ....donkey! He is so cute and really, a high point of the whole East Granby Experience. I could not get out of the car to get a good picture of him, and there is a damn fence in the way, but here he is. I promise better pictures. And I am asking for a donkey for every Christmas and Birthday for now on.

Pink Firetrucks

East Granby is now pink for Breast Cancer awareness. So to celebrate the pink firetruck came in this past weekend. Nothing like townie home grown macho men in pink for the celebration of healthy boobs, I tell you.

Halloween Town

Well, since I did not get the Library job, I am putting all my energy into decorating for Halloween. Meet the newest Cornelius, Slim. He likes to stoop on our front porch and drink Starbucks. Clearly, he fits in well. And I got to take out my new cupcake stand for a ride. The Barefoot Contessa's pumpkin cupcakes with Maple Cream Cheese frosting is extremely popular in our house. Except slim does not like them, he is watching his figure. We have a few more ideas for outside, but Mother Nature hates us and is trying to wash us away with constant rain.
