Baby's First Grooming!

Livi got a visit from the grooming fairy! Ok, maybe it was just the mobile grooming truck, but I have to admit, she looks even cuter! And, since we really have a dog in a cat suit, she LOVED the bath part. It was a hit for everyone and Olivia is now the softest cat ever. And she no longer smells funky. Clearly Lori will be back in a few months for another round.

Meow-Mitzvah!

My Stanley has just turned 13! He is now a man! And accordingly spent his day doing manly things: eating turkey, a little steak and a lot of fudge-cycles. He also spent time hitting the tap, tap water that is. Stan loves East Granby well water (that little traitor) and likes to get it from the source... our upstairs bathroom faucet. While I cooed over him all day, Stan was not really impressed. I can't believe I have a teenage son!

Farmer's Market

East Granby has made huge steps towards modern times... We are now home to a Farmer's Market. It is small, about ten booths. If I look carefully and then squint, it sorta feels like Union Square. This is its second week, and a huge hit with everyone in town. It is going to be extending into the fall. I am hoping for some sort of hayride. Our Beaber was here for the week, so she posed with the blueberries. Of course, my camera's batteries died before I could get more shots. Maybe next week!
