My dad concedes that Charlie is not a squash but a pumpkin!

Charlie is finally here!

After many months on the vine, Charlie, my first pumpkin child, is here! It was an easy labor and he weighs in at 5 pounds 6 ounces. His circumfrence is 24 inches! I could not be prouder and my mother could not be more thrilled if he were a human baby. He is a welcome addition to the family and well worth the wait. We expect three more soon!

Darker Hair

I get bored with my hair and often color it in the middle of the night. This time i used a salon and it turned out better. Who knew? Maybe I will take a cue from Britney and be wild and crazy with my new darker do.

Big Pencil

Whitney was so amused by this big pencil I bought it for her. She took orders, notes and pretty much giggled for two days. I did not really see the humor in it, but that is just me. I think she is now carrying it in her bag.

Diego's Party

Since his bark mitzvah is not until November (it is when we could get the rabbi) Diego had a smaller party for close friends. Here he is with his cake.

The Great Pumpkin Debate

We have a volunteer pumpkin growing in our back yard! There are four fruits growing off of it, and one big green pumpkin (they turn orange later on.) My dad claims they are squash. Everyone I know says the same thing, "that's a pumpkin!" Here are our pictures of Charlie, the great pumpkin plant!
