My mom gave me her cold/flu

so I am publishing this really bad picture.

Our new friend

Today we confirmed that my friend in the back yard is a skunk. He was eating pumpkins on our front porch. I could not get a great picture of him, I was afraid of the obvious. He was really cute and did not smell at all. He seemed more confortable with us than we were with him. I liked his black and white outfit and have threatened to bring him inside for winter!

Leaf Peeping

Here are a few pics of leaves and trees around my house and at school. It hs been raining so no great folliage for us :(

Funkins!

Even though my mom has dragged my tushie everywhere for pumpkins, she has also purchased Funkins. Fiberglass pumpkins. Funkins. As in "what are those funkin things?" "What, more funkin pumpkins?" You get my idea. Here they are carved.

Finally Some Good Luck

Today our house was COVERED in lady bugs. Since they are supposed to be good luck, I figured about a hundered of them would be more than helpful. These are orange, and I think they are merely getting ready for the Halloween season. All of the black dots you see are beetles. Seriously there were at least a hundred.

Sacred Crows and Scare Cows

Today my mom and I went to Old Wethersfield and checked out the annual scarecrow parade. Here are a few of my favorites! Some one knocked one over and my mom fixed it! For more pics, look here!

The house at night

While I could not get a smooth picture (I took this one from the car) you can get an idea of the lights :)

My mom spent $40 on this effing ugly pumpkin!

Decorating for Halloween

My family and I have been decorating for the big day. We have tons of lights in orange and red and some in eyeball shapes. My mom also has pumpkins and tons of spider webs. I did the webs and did a great job if I say so. There will be more pictures at night! There are light in the bushes, but they do not show up so well in the pictures :(

Roaming gnome

Here is my mom bucking to be travelocity's new gnome. I think it works.

Clowning Around

My mom and I are busy making twin clownsuits for twin nieces. Here I am making a pompom out of yarn. And there is a pic of me giving it to you in the collar. This whole project was rough since I am afraid of clowns. I have to admit they are cute. Who knows how I will feel once the twins put them on.
