Ferdinand the Frog

I have decided that Fred was a bad name for our frog. He is way to fabulous. He has decided to now leave his pond and pose for me. A few are a little blurry, I really did not want to lie on the ground. It has not been maintained by the NYC parks commission. Who knows what would happen...

Running to the store for milk, East Granby style

About a month ago, I switched from cow milk to goat milk for my cereal and coffee. It is lower in fat and I can get it locally from a farmer at the Green Market. Who knew it was so popular? She always seems to sell out before we can get there. So my mom and I made the trip to Granby to Hayes Farm. Meet Marcel, a lovely white goat, getting her herre did for the fancy local 4H fair. No worries though, she IS coming home. A lot of the animals go onto culinary adventures after visiting the fair. (Gross, I know.)

Treat thief

I got some kitty treats for the cats so I could bribe them on the photoshoot. Here is Livi licking her lips after stealing the out of my bag.

Fred the Frog

It is a good thing I mucked out the pond, we now have a new frog living there. Named Fred. It seems that our pond is the East Granby equivalent of a penthouse in New York. Fred seems to like to sit in the water and have his eyes in the air watching for bugs or me and my camera. Alas, here he is!

Supermodels of the world!

We finally decided to get professional pet portraits of our kitties this week! Indigo Images came to our house, and while I could not teach the cats to smize in time, they chantayed and sasheyed with the best of them. Since it was early in the morning I did not have time to download the full RuPaul model mix.
