Meet Miss Olivia

I just got a new baby sister! Her name is Oliva and she is 8 weeks old We got her yesterday and to celebrate I brought her to Starbucks for a latte. She is so sweet and friendly. Stanley is pissed.

What the hell?

Only in Chelsea could a waiter bring you this with a strat face.

Live from New York!

I got to see my some of my New York Friends last weekend! Since Otto was in town we decided to have a Birthday dinner for me! It was just what I needed to keep on going in dreary Connecticut! Matza Ball Soup will cure anything!

Ghostly Lawn

It took me a while, but I have finally put out most of the Halloween decorations. This year's additions include ghost lights, ghost stake lights, pumpkin stake lights and ghost metal thing. the wind has taken a toll on our graveyard (my mom won't let me get real headstones) and on the ghosts on the liliac tree. Everything lights up, but night time pictures don't come out as well. I will try to take a few later on.... but it is really cold and windy today. All in all I like to think of it as my very own ode to the West Village in October.

More Salem

Here are some shots from the House of the Seven Gables, the inspiration for Nathanal Hawthorne's book. To be honest, I never read it, it took all I had to get through the Scarlett Letter. I tried to get pictures of all seven gables, but it was rough getting around. Plus I thought the house would be a lot bigger.
